- The provincial and federal governments will be giving $1,200 in pandemic danger pay to about 380,000 private and public frontline workers.
- The provincial government has reported the first two cases of the COVID-19 variant linked to in-school transmission. Dr. Deena Hinshaw said they won't currently be releasing which zone those cases are in.
- CTV News reported that a large group "defied public health orders" earlier this week at Earls Crossroads. Under public health orders, only six people from the same household can eat out together or two close contacts if you live alone.
- Flair Airlines is adding new destinations out of Edmonton International Airport, including Ottawa, Victoria, Kelowna and more. It will also add more flights from Edmonton to Vancouver and Toronto this spring.
