Taproot Edmonton is the flagship publication of Taproot Publishing.
Taproot Edmonton respectfully acknowledges that we are located within Treaty 6 territory. This land is the traditional home for many Indigenous peoples, including the Cree, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, Dene, Saulteaux, and Anishinaabe. The area we pay attention to is part of Districts 8, 9, 10, and 11 of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government. Many Inuit people call this place home, as do others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich our vibrant community.
