- Jan. 28-30: Edmonton Renovation Show, a marketplace to shop for home-related products and services at the Edmonton Expo Centre
- Jan. 29, 10:30am: New Year, New Energy: Wind Power! at the Canadian Energy Museum in Leduc
- Jan. 29: Real Talk Pond Hockey Classic, a tournament set to run at Larry Olexiuk Field in St. Albert
- Jan. 29, 8pm: Eleganza XTRAVAGANZA, a monthly drag showcase put on by Party Queens
- Jan. 29, 8pm: UnCovered: The Music of Dolly Parton, held online by Catalyst Theatre
- Jan. 30: Polar Plunge, an opportunity to support Special Olympics Alberta athletes by "taking the plunge" online
- Jan. 30, 11am: Family Literacy Carnival, a free festival from MacEwan University and the Centre for Family Literacy on the theme "Learning in the Great Outdoors"
- Jan. 30, 8pm: Sunday Revue: Baddie Factory, a drag performance hosted by Etherea Cree at Evolution Wonderlounge
- Until Feb. 6: Ice on Whyte, featuring ice sculptures, carving demonstrations, and a food tour
