Farmers show how and where your food is grown

This week, we're highlighting an event pick by Taproot community coordinator Debbi Serafinchon. Debbi recommends Alberta Open Farm Days, an annual event offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at how and where your food is produced.

Here's what Debbi had to say:

"Instead of just buying food at a grocery store, you can chat face-to-face with the people who actually grow it. A lot of the events offer fresh farm-to-table meals, food trucks, free samples, and local products you can buy right on the spot. Walk around, see the animals, check out the big tractors and equipment, and see where your food actually comes from."
