LitFest 2026 Opening Night Event and Reception
📅 Wednesday, Oct. 14 7:00 PM
📍 Citadel Theatre
Canada's original nonfiction festival opens with a reception featuring Trina Moyles in conversation with Conor Kerr about her newest work, Black Bear: A Story of Siblinghood and Survival, plus musical performances from Mikayla Bortscher and Rabbits Three Cultural Connections.
Here's what Karen had to say:
"Right after Thanksgiving, LitFest offers plenty to be grateful for with a cornucopia of true stories, poetic explorations, and big ideas. This is the nonfiction festival's 20th anniversary, and opening night promises to be a lovely evening to kick off a full week of edifying talks and workshops."
