Downtown Dining Week is more than a culinary celebration — it's a powerful reminder of what makes our city centre special.
For 10 delicious days, the Edmonton Downtown Business Association's signature event allows local restaurants to showcase curated multi-course or multi-item menus for a deal, inviting Edmontonians to rediscover old favourites and explore new spots they may have walked past dozens of times.
This year, you have over 65 restaurants to pick from, and the diversity of cuisine on display reflects exactly what our great downtown represents: the cultural heartbeat of our city, where stories, traditions, and flavours meet. You'll find anything from handmade pasta to fragrant curries, inventive plant-based plates to perfectly seared steaks.
For diners, it's an invitation to try something new without breaking the bank. Maybe it's just a great excuse to hit up your favourite restaurant for the thousandth time, but this time you'll try something new because it's on the Dining Week menu. Fixed-price menus reduce the guesswork and make it easier to plan an office lunch, at $15 or $25, or dinner, priced at $35, $50, or $65.
For our restaurants, it offers them a chance to experiment with dishes and connect with first-time guests who may become loyal regulars. It also helps them fill the seats in their restaurants during a typically slower time of year.
For downtown, it attracts thousands of guests to fill up dining rooms and create the kind of buzz that fuels confidence in our core. Every reservation, whether with friends or office-mates, supports local jobs, local suppliers, and the incredible entrepreneurs who give Edmonton its flavour.
