Policies and campaign updates
- Mayoral candidate Amarjeet Sohi released his policies on poverty and houselessness, renaming public spaces, families and child care, and community safety.
- Mayoral candidate Kim Krushell published her places to play plan.
- Mayoral candidate Cheryll Watson posted a policy to encourage more people to visit and stay downtown.
- Mayoral candidate Rick Comrie talked about working at the community level and his support of law enforcement in two recent tweets.
- Mayoral candidate Michael Oshry updated his plan to develop West Rossdale with an endorsement from Chief William Morin of Enoch Cree Nation.
- Ward Dene candidate Aaron Paquette posted a virtual office house on Facebook.
- Ward Métis candidate Ashley Salvador released a list of her campaign donors.

Weighing in on the campaign trail
- Mayoral candidates spoke at a forum hosted by Rat Creek Press. The newspaper also hosted forums for candidates from Ward O-day'min and Ward Métis.
- Answers to the Ladies Corner Canada Media candidate questionnaire are available on the group's website. The featured responses are from both city council and mayoral candidates.
- Answers from candidates to the Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition questionnaire are available on its Facebook page.
- Wards tastawiyiniwak and Karhiio candidates Ahmed 'Knowmadic' Ali and Keren Tang discussed federal voting on the OtherWise Podcast.
- Edmonton Elections will provide a wait time tool for advanced voting and on election day to help residents pick the best time to go to the polls.
- Taproot has been collecting answers to its candidate survey and will continue to update the files as they come in.
Upcoming forums
- The Downtown Business Association is hosting a mayoral forum at Ford Hall in Rogers Place on Sept. 23. The forum will be broadcast live on the DBA's YouTube channel.
- Inglewood, Sherbrooke and Woodcroft Community Leagues are hosting an all candidates forum for Ward Anirniq candidates on Sept. 28.
- Grandview Community League is hosting an electoral forum for Ward papastew candidates on Sept. 29.
- The Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations will present a virtual mayoral candidate forum on Oct. 4.
- The Edmonton Public Library will host a conversation with mayoral candidates online on Oct. 6.
