Events Roundup
April 16, 2026
This week, we're highlighting an event pick by Taproot community coordinator Debbi Serafinchon. Debbi recommends In-Person Engagement for 2027-2030 Budget, an opportunity to weigh in on Edmonton's future.
City of Edmonton Budget Engagement
š April 16 to May 1
The City is building the 2027-2030 budget this year. City Administration will share the recommended budget this fall, and Council will debate and decide on the budget in December. But first, we need to hear from you.
Here's what Debbi had to say:
"We all have opinions on how our city is run, and now is the time to voice them. You'll have the chance to use a budget simulator to try balancing the city's spending yourself, while weighing in on property tax scenarios and future priorities. Is balancing the books as hard as it looks? Come put it to the test and make sure your voice is heard. There are a number of dates to chose from."
