They/Them

Andy is a fourth-year MacEwan Journalism student with a thirst for prairie true crime, LGBTQ2+ activism, and narrative features. They were raised in Regina and relocated to Edmonton to pursue further education.

Andy has been a theatre instructor, an opinion column editor and contributor, a regional director of the Canadian Improv Games, a sexual violence activist, and a public speaker. They hope their internship with Taproot will connect them to the community, real issues, and untold stories.
